Week of January 21st – 25th
Parents,
On the days the students have LEAP I will allow them to begin homework in class. I know they get home late and their schedules are somewhat crunched – but please continue to check their work and encourage them to study SS each night for a short period of time. Thanks!!!!
Math
- We will be working on various lessons from Chapter 7 – Division
- Lessons 5, 6, 7 and 12 (we have addressed “averages” in chapter 4)
- Students have been introduced to long division in LEAP tutoring
- We will focus on the division process with remainders
- Test on Friday to cover these lessons
Social Studies
- We will continue Chapter 6 lessons 3 and 4
- Students are taking notes and vocabulary from the overhead
- Please make sure your student is reviewing these nightly!
- No test this week!
